Joel averaged 21.8 points a game and six rebounds, 3.8 assists and 2.2 steals a game in his four games and helped lead his team to victory in the championship final. In the final game of the 2008 TELUS BC Boys ‘AAA’ Provincial Championship, the White Rock Christian Warriors took on the Yale Lions of Abbotsford. This was their second meeting of the season with WRCA winning the first. Both teams had to scrape by hard fought battles in their Friday night semi-final game for this opportunity that each player will probably remember for the rest of their lives. |

All the games were filled with extreme passion and determination in day three of the 2008 Telus BC Boys 'AAA' Provincial Championships. Every team played their heart out in hopes of placing in the top 10 of the tournament, with eight of those teams battling for the right to the final four tomorrow night. |
